Based on Article Trade Flow Classification Algorithm in the Electronic Era: The Good, the Bad, and the uninformative by Marios Panayides †, Thomas Shohfi, Jared Smith We have written this volume assessment indicator. The advantage, It is not necessary to load large data set for volume calculation. The disadvantage, Up / Down volume is estimated, it is not based on real data.
