Highlighted Stochastic with Alert.lua
Highlighted Tick Stochastic with Alert.lua
In order to Highlighted Tick Stochastic could work, install Generic Tick Based Stochastic. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1667&p=102842#p102842
Compatibility issue Fix. _Alert helper is not longer needed.
The indicator was revised and updated

yeah, I agree with Paul, I also use this one and “Stochastic with Alert” on all my charts and would be really nice to have both these indicators combined into a single one! Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Apprentice, this is a great all-round Stochastic. But for some reason it cannot be applied to tick-charts (unlike many other of your custom indicators). Could you please (if possible and whenever you have time) modify it somehow so it can also work on tick-charts? (it would be fantastic for scalpers to have this Stochastic as is or its 1min/5min on a tick-chart by changing its data-source period!) Thank you very much in advance!

Regular Stochastic requires full bar. If you compare it with this tick version, you will see that the values differ slightly.

yeah, I’m fully aware of the difference in value, that’s still fine. Basically it would be great for scalpers to be able to view your 1min/5min Stochastic on their tick-charts (by taking advantage of the platform’s feature to change data-source periods). So whenever you have time could you please modify your indicator so we can apply it also on tick-charts. I’m sure many like me would truly appreciate it. Thank you very much in advance!

is great i used it in time frame 5 min and its good for small pips scalping
so is there a strategy for it can use for scalping on time frame 5 min

Hello, I would like to check the indicator arrow location.
If i have the indicator running on a 1 hour time frame at 14,4,4 in a 5 minute chart the indicator gives a signal at 25 minutes past the hour only.
My Question is… if the signal at 14:00 or 15:00 if the cross over is at 14:25? I am thinking it will be at 15:00 when set to end of turn.

Sorry i should have added this to my last question. If i am looking at a 1 hour 14,4,4 stochastic in a 1 hour chart is the arrow confirming that candle as the fir to be in the new direction or will it be the following candle.

I have just seen the Highlighted Stochastic : I compared with my usual stochstic and it works very well - But, it don’t have the possibility of overlay : arrow for the chart and dot for the Stochastic
Is it possible to get this overlay ?

Hi Have re down loaded ‘Highlighted Stochastic with Alert’ . I get the same message as before. I notice on FX code base that Highlighted Stochastic is highlighted where as Highlighted Stochastic with Alert appears to be not until i hover over the link.
