Linear Regression Trend Line with Raff Channel
Raff Regression Channel a.k.a. Linear Regression Channel draw two parallel lines above and below the regression line.
Distance between lines corresponding to the farthest closing price from the regression line.
Regression Channels restricts the movement of markets, providing appropriate support and resistance lines.
Short-term excursions outside the channel are possible, long-term absence may be a sign of change in trend.
The Linear Regression trendline shows the equilibrium price (equilibrium) Linear Regression Channels show the range in which we can expect the price deviation from trend lines.
If you look at indicator options, you can see that the Raff Regression Channel can be turn off.

I like this indicator. But, when I use this indicator, a error often come out
—- An error occurred during the calculation of the indicator ‘LINEAR REGRESSION TREND LINE WITH RAFF CHANNEL’. The error details: [string “Linear Regression Trend Line with Raff Chan…”]:128: Index is out of range.
Can anybody check and fix it? may be array[ ] ? or zero divid ? or wrong value?

This looks like a good indicator, but I think it would be far more useful if instead of using a fixed period in which to segment the regression lines, the indicator would depend upon the zigzag indicator to find the highs/lows, and then use their times to determine each segment to use for the trend line. This way the trend line will conform to the legs created by the zigzag where the actual trends occur.

Can you add two more lines to this, 1 between middle and top and 1 between middle and bottom, basically between the central line and most outer lines? Kind of similar fashion to how donchian is divided

Hello Apprentice 1] thank you for the effort 2] but the alerts are not working for; Bottom Line Cross Under [and] Top Line Cross Over 3] have checked this at various setting for tolerance on different pairs and time frames but no alert 4] please check Best regards Trader
