Timed Moving Averages

Instead of candles for timed indicators the period is defined in seconds. It can be applied to any time frame, as well as “t1”.
Tick Timed Moving Averages.lua
It can be applied to “m1” time frame or higher.

The Two-Tick-Timed-MA-Cross is really useful - am using on the tick chart (scalping strategy)
just wondering, would it possible to add a “Tick” option to the Calculation - in addition to “Duration in seconds” ?
something I would like to test

A Renko-ish, Two-Tick-MA-Cross
Am using on a tick chart, works well imo
Will need to configure for the instrument you are trading – and will take some testing, to suit your trading strategy (scalping)
Suggest using Fibonacci sequence – e.g. DAX 21 (fast MA) 144 (slow MA)
could be a valuable piece to a larger strategy

is it possible to add UP/DN colors - to both line 1 and 2 ?
would help visually, to avoid trading against short term probabilities

Hello Apprentice, can you make the moving average envelope (Tick Timed Moving Averages Envelope.lua), but with additional filter applied to reduce the lag time (like the influx indicator) for tick time frames,also with possibility to mention type of moving average (MVA, EMA)? Thank you for all the great indicators you made so far and hopefully you can help with this.

I have tried it but it does not quite match the influx and I do not quite understand how the 2 MA’s in the indicator are applied to the price chart. It should be only one MA value (like normal envelopes or MA’s). The envelopes I need should be like a zerolag MA envelope (or a nonlag MA) if you know what I mean which is almost the same. Do you think it is possible to make it? P.S. the type of MA selection should remain in the indi as it is great.

I also have some formula and the MT4 code for the NonLag MA (a modified non lag MACD) – attached–which I hope it can be of help to you: Formula as found it on the internet: EMA = K * ( 2 * PRICE - PRICE.X) + (1 - K) * EMA.1 where… K = 2 / (n + 1) n = Period x = lag = (n - 1) / 2
The attached is a NonLag MACD which I modified to show only a NonLagMA on price chart and which I use in MT4 but I need it for ticks in Marketscope.

Hello Apprentice, first I want to wish you a nice vacation and I’m grateful you took time to post the indicators. Unfortunately they are not quite what I expected as they differ greatly from the mq4 indicator I posted. Normally, the zerolag MA should be faster and follow price closely than the normal MA. The zerolag and envelope posted above by you are not much different than a usual MA/envelope. Maybe after your return you could take a look! Thanks again and waiting for your return.

Hello Apprentice and thank you for taking time during your vacation to post the indicators. Unfortunately I have tried them but they are not quite in order. My mq4 indicator that I posted is much faster than a regular moving average while the indis posted above are almost the same as a moving average. Maybe after coming from your vacation you could take a look at the zero lag MA. Thanks and have a nice time on your vacation!

Zerolag.lua was written based on your formula.
